The World Bank funded this Biomethane Project with a Daily Production of 20,000 Cubic Meters. German technologies such as hydrolysis acidification, equipment manufacturing, and biomethane purification were incorporated in this project. This initiative annually processes and utilizes 547,500 tons of livestock and poultry manure, along with 50,000 tons of discarded straw. It yields 11.56 million cubic meters of biogas annually, with 7 million cubic meters of purified natural gas. Following priority allocation to 20,000 nearby households for cooking and heating, the remaining gas is supplied to CNG refueling stations. The resulting biogas slurry can fertilize 30,000 acres of farmland. The project is completed and operational, thanks to the World Bank loan.
